On February 9th, 2015, a startling discovery was made. An almost fully preserved fossil was found under a house scheduled for demolition.
Lengthwise, the fossil is about 15 feet; the height is about 10. Scientists' calculations conclude the fossil was an omnivore; capable of eating both plants and animals. It is suspected to have been a mixture of a muddy green and light brown for camouflage purposes.
There is no word on whether this particular dinosaur was heavily hunted or if it was the hunter. One scientist thinks because it stayed out of other dinosaur's way, there was a fair amount in existence but the reason there haven't been more fossils found is because their bone structure is designed in such a way that it decomposes quickly.
After much debate, the dinosaur has been named medioris brutum; Latin for "average beast". Apparently, it was named for the quiet life they held while including their ferocity when hunting and fighting.
This fossil is attracting scientists from around the world; each eager to get a look and give their two cents. The area in which the fossil was found has been roped off and is currently being swarmed by reporters and scientists alike.
